Hi, my name is Glenn McDonald. I’ve lived my whole life in beautiful Vermilion Bay Ontario, nestled on the shores of Eagle Lake. Always an avid fisherman, my hard core pursuit of Musky started ten years ago with help from my wife’s family. I started fishing and guiding for musky on the infamous Long Legged/Stork Lake chain in remote Northwestern Ontario. I recently started Buck-Tails Hunting and Fishing Guide Service, and will fish most local lakes including Eagle, Cedar, Canyon, and Indian Chain.
A huge proponent of CPR, I take every precaution to keep fish healthy. I also realize that any fish may be a true “Fish of a Lifetime” for my clients. My fishing partners and I take a great deal of pride in trying to capture the perfect photo for clients while balancing the health of the fish.
My wife, Kyla McDonald is manager at Bobby’s Sport Shop and as such we have access to almost any gear and tackle. I continue to use and support Suick Lures. I have trust in their products and know when I use one or recommend one to guest or customers that it will work as advertised.
I hope to grow the musky fishing community by showing new anglers both young and old the thrill of catching one of these elusive beasts!
