Tyler has been fishing his entire life. He has a passion for it. And he incorporated that passion into an education in wildlife management and eventually a career in fishing. Tyler has fine-tuned his skills on fishing high pressured, clear bodies of water where understanding finesse techniques are required to catch fish in these “tough” lakes. Tyler has spent countless hours on the water from guiding, to filming for Sportsman’s Journal where he brings life to the television world with his charismatic personality, intense knowledge on reading water and finding fish where others can’t.Tyler and his wife Sara host and produce the syndicated television series Sportsman’s Journal. Sportsman’s Journal is a fishing program that focuses on freshwater species throughout the Midwest and NW Ontario. The husband-and-wife duo provide insight, entertainment, and education on fishing techniques and trends for anglers at every skill level.Sara and Tyler reside in SE WI and NW Ontario with their daughter, Reagan.
